Long story short, three of us [Muge, Cecilia and Pan] share interests in demystifying misunderstandings between Chinese and American pop cultures through the stories of Chinese international students in U.S. We decided that we want to create a form of media that is highly accessible and easy to engage with in both US and Chinese culture. 



We will be creating more videos on hotly debated topics on intercultural communication. And of course, you are more than welcome to join the conversation! Please feel free to leave a comment, or question. Our mission is to provide a honest glimpse into Chinese society, and Chinese students. Our perspectives do not represent the general Chinese population, but we will try to provide multi-dimensional discussion.

 

Lately our updates are not as frequent as before, but we have good news to share with you: we are on our way to establish our own startup to show our long-term commitment. The BAD news is, besides technical issues (now that we have to collaborate with each other in four different time zones), personnel shortage, we spent most of our paychecks on website maintenance, business startup fees and upgrading some of our video production equipment… as a result, we are now officially in sub-critical financial crisis. 

 

But we are determined to carry on. And here’s what we are asking from YOU. We appreciated all our viewers’ support. There is no way we could have made it thus far without your support, and now we are asking youjust a little extra help: one dollar (or maybe a couple :D). With this money, we will be able to expand our online network, interview more people, make more fun little skits and improve both the technical quality and content quality for our videos.
